Android primește o nouă funcție de „backup local de fișiere” prin Google Drive

Conform celor mai recente note de lansare ale serviciilor Google Play, telefoanele Android vor beneficia de o „nouă funcție de backup local de fișiere” oferită de Google Drive. Această funcție permite utilizatorilor să își salveze fișierele din folderul „Download”.

„Backup local de fișiere” pare a fi o funcție simplă de backup care funcționează în fundal pentru folderul „Download” al dispozitivului Android („documentele descărcate”). Este similar cu ceea ce face aplicația Google Drive pentru desktop pe Mac și Windows. Este important de menționat că aceasta este diferită de backup-ul existent pe Android, care folosește stocarea Google Drive pentru aplicații și datele aplicațiilor, istoricul apelurilor, contacte, setările dispozitivului și mesajele SMS și MMS.

Deocamdată, nu avem detalii exacte despre implementare. Cea mai simplă abordare ar vedea fiecare fișier din „Download” încărcat într-un folder nou echivalent în Drive, pe care îl poți accesa ca orice altceva în drive.google.com sau prin intermediul aplicațiilor. Dacă ai mai multe telefoane și tablete, acel folder ar putea fi denumit după dispozitiv.
