👉 macOS 26 Tahoe, ultima versiune pentru Mac-urile Intel

În cadrul segmentului Platforms State of the Union de la WWDC 2025, Apple a anunțat că macOS 26 Tahoe este ultima versiune majoră de macOS pentru Mac-uri bazate pe Intel. Conform informațiilor, versiunea viitoare macOS 27 va fi compatibilă doar cu Mac-uri cu procesor Apple silicon, ceea ce înseamnă că va fi necesar un Mac cu chip M sau un MacBook Neo cu chip A18 Pro pentru a instala actualizarea de software, potrivit macrumors.com.

macOS 27 ar trebui să fie disponibil în versiune beta începând din luna iunie, iar actualizarea va fi probabil lansată pe scară largă în septembrie. macOS Tahoe este compatibil cu următoarele Mac-uri: Mac-uri bazate pe Intel care pot rula macOS Tahoe, dar nu vor fi compatibile cu macOS 27, precum MacBook Pro de 16 inci (2019), iMac de 27 inci (2020), MacBook Pro de 13 inci (2020, cu patru porturi Thunderbolt 3) și Mac Pro (2019). Compatibilitatea exactă a macOS 27 cu Mac-urile bazate pe Apple silicon rămâne de văzut, dar se presupune că actualizarea va suporta toate Mac-urile cu chip M1 sau mai noi.
