Inspection of Fire Safety Measures in Tourism and Catering Units in Bacău County Over the weekend, inspectors from the County Emergency Situations Inspectorate (ISU) in Bacău conducted checks on fire safety measures at tourism and catering establishments. The prevention inspectors have primarily focused on, but not limited to, ensuring the following aspects: compliance with maximum occupancy, functioning in terms of fire safety authorization, adherence to the requirements mentioned in the fire safety authorization, and providing suitable evacuation conditions for users. During the inspection of a catering establishment, a 1-storey building with a total area of 1342 square meters, the prevention inspectors found serious violations of essential fire safety requirements. As a result, the establishment was fined with 50.000 lei and as a complementary measure, it was ordered to cease all operations and use of the building. This thorough inspection by ISU Bacău aims to promote and ensure the safety of citizens and tourists alike, by enforcing strict adherence to fire safety measures. It serves as a reminder to all establishments in the county to comply with fire safety regulations and have fire safety authorizations in place. Failure to do so may result in heavy fines and penalties. The concerned authorities urge all tourism and catering units to prioritize the safety of their customers and take all necessary measures to ensure fire prevention and safety.
